 Five more favourite English idioms:


🦇➔😈  Like a bat out of hell:  Moving extremely fast.  

 Example:  The cat ran into the house to get away from the neighbour's dog.


👍💥     Like a shot:  When you do something like a shot, you do it extremely quickly and enthusiastically.

 Example:  When they asked for volunteers, they raised their hands enthusiastically.


👍🕴      Like a boss:  When you do anything with stylish confidence or authority, no matter how simple it is.

  Example:  I'm going to teach you to draw like a boss.  


👍🧱🧱 Like a ton of bricks:  When you behave very strongly or forcefully towards someone.

Example:  If your dad finds out what you've done, he'll come down on you 

               (=punish) like a ton of bricks.


👍👨👩👻Like a man/woman possessed:  When someone behaves in a wild and uncontrolled manner.

Example:  He's been running around the office like a man possessed.
